Running zato services from Python code in zato extra paths

Is it possible/reasonable/feasible to run zato services from python code in zato_extra_paths?

I am currently exploring a sound way to integrate services available in zato with the http://cloudi.org/#Python software framework.

CloudI basically needs a python script to interface with, so I am trying to figure out an appropriate place in zato to interface zato with CloudI.
