(Migrated) Zato 1.2 will be called 2.0

(This message has been automatically imported from the retired mailing list)

Hi,

I’m currently going through the list of tasks done or still left before
the next released - I expect the development to be finished within the
next several months, probably 3-4.

New features already available or to be added:

  • SQL-based guaranteed delivery
  • Redis-backed HTTP publish/subscribe over REST and SOAP
  • REST services
  • Cloud connections: Amazon S2S, SQS and OpenStack Swift
  • Notifiers: OpenStack Swift, FTP, local files
  • TLS channels and outconns, including GUIs
  • Security schemes: OAuth, NTLM, Amazon AWS
  • LDAP connections and LDAP templates
  • OpenERP connections
  • SMTP and IMAP
  • XPath and JSON query templates
  • New SIO types: List, Dict, ListOfDicts, CSV
  • WSDL generation of out SIO definitions
  • Invoke/retry pattern
  • Dozens of smaller tweaks and improvements

I believe this is a nice list - hence calling it a 2.0 sounds reasonable.

Hello,

Indeed 2.0.

Great job!
