(Migrated) Two phase commit

(This message has been automatically imported from the retired mailing list)

Hi.

Where I can find example how to implement two phase commit using Zato (with
Django for example). Any documentation or explanation maybe?

Best regards.

Hi Paweł,

Zato doesn’t have any particular means for 2PC hence you’ll have to
treat it as though it were any other Python application.

I’m not sure of what sort of 2PC you’re thinking of.

I can certainly see Zato becoming both a client and a coordinator for
distributed transactions for SOAP and REST applications along the lines
of what Oasis offer in their suite of protocols …

… but there are currently no plans to make Zato handle XA/Open-like ones.
